Stephen A. Donaldson

Stephen A.  Donaldson , 72, died Tuesday, May 24th, 2022 in Milford NH. He was born on September 25th 1949 in Holden MA, the son of the late Albert Donaldson and late Mary Donaldson (Kelley).

Stephen grew up in Lunenburg Massachusetts where he graduated from Lunenburg Highschool. He was on the basketball team, cross country team & track team where he held the record for running the mile for several years. He went on to pursue a career and received a Bachelor's degree in Fine Arts from the University of Kentucky & University of Massachusetts. He lived for a few years in Kodiak AK where he taught at the local college & spent time with family there. He moved back to New England & settled in Southern NH and was employed by the state of Mass as a state park ranger for Willard Brook State Park.

He resided in Greenville NH with his family & faithfully attended Sacred Heart Parish. He shared his love of art, nature, running, music & religion with his family. He spent most summer evenings at the town pool with his kids, sledding in the winter & going to York Beach. Stephen spent his last years in New Ipswich NH & enjoyed his time listening to Tom Jones, The Beatles & The Beach Boys, watching the Red Sox, Celtics & Patriots & Visiting with family.

He was predeceased by his Father Albert Donaldson & Mother Mary Donaldson (Kelley)

He is survived by his daughter Nicole and her husband Jacob & grandchildren Gabriel & Allison of Troy NH; son Andrew and wife Lisa & grandchildren Thomas & Amelia of El Paso TX and son Nathan of Greenville NH.

He was one of six boys. His brothers: William, Wayne, Johnny, Alby & Brian & their extended families will all hold the memory of Stephen close to their hearts. Stephen will be greatly missed by extended family & many others.

SERVICES will be at 11:00 AM on Friday, June 3rd, 2022 at The North Cemetery in Lunenburg MA.

Family and friends are invited to attend.
