Raised in Needham, Massachusetts, Steve was the oldest of four siblings. He attended The Dexter School, Buckingham, Browne, and Nichols, and Boston University, and served as a Military Policeman in the United States Army in both Korea and Louisville, Kentucky. His military service was a highlight in his life and Steve spent many years continuing to help Veterans; he had a generous heart for helping people and the gift of mercy, which allowed him to support Veterans in their years after active service.
Steve is survived by his sons Christopher and Patrick, his daughter-in-law, Liz, and grandchildren Haleigh and Warren Dunkle. Steve is also survived by brothers, John, and his wife Jennifer, of Portsmouth, NH, Jay, and his wife Kristin of Trumbull, Connecticut, and sister Wendy Dowling and her husband Nick, of Morgan Hill, California, as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. He will be deeply missed.
