Stephen William Edmands

Stephen William Edmands, 73 of Mont Vernon, NH passed away at Catholic Medical Center on April 26, 2024, with his lovely wife, Kathleen by his side always.

He was born in Norwood, MA on April 21, 1951, the son of late Ruth Edmands, late William Arthur Edmands and brother to the late Richard Edmands.

Steve attended The Conservatory of Music and Berklee School of Music following his passion

for Music. He played in numerous successful bands in the Boston area, such as "Band in Boston", a jazz and funk ensemble as lead trumpet player. He was a featured artist at the world renowned "Boston Pops"

and laying down studio tracks with the likes of Tony Bennett.

He enlisted in the Army National Guard for six years playing taps at many military services.

Finding a new career in the Printing business, he named what would become a Watertown,  MA landmark,  B&B Printing Services after his two sons.

Steve would go on to be sought after as a finish carpenter & proud grandfather to four grandson's whom he loved immensely. He was an expert skier, a passion he shared with his wife, two son's & grandson's.  This past season he was on the mountains 40 days and skied with style & grace.

He enjoyed music, walking, hiking, kayaking and was an avid reader. He was a big sports fan especially the New England Patriots and Celtics! Most of all he enjoyed watching his grandson's baseball games.

He loved his wife passionately, truly a once in a lifetime romance.

Steve's greatest love was spending time with his family and friends.

He truly will be missed.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 49 years, Kathleen of Mont Vernon, son Bob and his wife Krista of Weare and their three boys, Bobby, Jason, & Thomas and son Brian and his son Oliver of Missoula, MT. Brother in law Paul Kingsbury & his wife Dot of Brewster, MA.

Don't send flowers. Go ski, go live, tell the ones you care about how you feel. Steve would love it!
