Stephen L.
Forcier
Jan 5, 1955 — Nov 4, 2026
Charlestown, NH
Stephen L. Forcier passed from this world to the loving arms of his savior at the age of 71, while at the Jack Byrne Center in Lebanon, NH on November 4, 2026. He was born January 5, 1955, in Salamanca, NY to Valerie Sohar and raised by his grandparents, Lloyd and Vera Forcier in Jamestown, NY.
When Steve moved to NH he brought with him many skills: making fast friends, turning wrenches and playing guitar. He was given opportunities to use his mechanical/machinist’s gift and trouble shooting in many local industries. He quickly met up with like-minded musicians playing from Springfield to White River Junction, VT and all points in between on both sides of the Connecticut River. At his last employer he had reached his goal of Maintenance Supervisor, however, tired of the bureaucracy of the corporate world he bought a tool sharpening business to be his own boss. At age 62 he retired.
He is survived by his wife of 46 years Sue Ann and her siblings; his half-sister, Hope; 3 dear cousins; and his mother, Val.
He is predeceased by his grandparents; half-brother, Butch; half-sister, Tory; and his Uncle Jim.
A Celebration of Life will be held in the future at the family’s discretion.
Assisting with arrangements is the Cremation Society of New Hampshire, Brattleboro. To view Steve’s online tribute, send condolences to his family, or for more information, visit www.csnh.com
