Stephen Nelson

Stephen Nelson, 77, died Sunday, May 9, 2021, in the comfort of his own home in Seabrook, NH, with his family by his side.

Born on January 4, 1944, in Kingston, NY, he is the son of the late William Jecusco and mary Lazarko Jecusco. Steve married the love of his life, Avis Kow, in 1969.

An honorably discharged veteran, Steve proudly served his country as a member of the United States Marine Corps for 10 years. Following his military service, Steve served as a US Deputy Marshal for the Department of Justice for 10 years.

Steve is survived by his wife, Avis Kow; sister, Elizabeth Kampus of CT; in-laws, Patricia and Robert Gemmell of Canada; several nieces, nephews, grand-nieces and grand-nephews. He is also survived by his beloved dog, Finley, a faithful companion and guard dog for 11 years. In addition to his parents, Steve was predeceased by his brother, William.
