Stephen "Reid" Miller

Stephen “Reid” Miller, 75, of Derry, NH passed away peacefully in the care of his granddaughter, Maura Bartlett, on January 22, 2023. He was born on July 20^th, 1947 to the late James & Ella (Reid) Miller.

Reid spent his younger years as a Merrimack Valley native before joining the US Air Force in 1965. He was stationed in Vietnam from 1968-1969. He later on became a lifelong member of the VFW and held the position of post commander of the VFW in Methuen, MA.

Those who knew Reid will remember a quiet, kind and gentle man who loved his family and friends deeply. Reid loved all New England sports teams and golf. He would rarely miss watching a game. Above all else, Reid loved his family immensely and will be dearly missed by all whose lives he touched.

Reid is predeceased by his wife Ruth Miller; son Shawn Miller; stepdaughter Laura Bartlett and granddaughter Ashley Lannan.

Reid is survived by his son Scott Miller; daughters Stacey & Shannon Miller; stepson Russ O’Clare; stepdaughter Lisa O’Clare; 16 grandchildren and many extended family members and friends.

Private services for Reid will be held by family at a later date. Donations in Reid’s memory can be made to the Manchester VNA Hospice.
