Stephen D. Roy, 59, of Nashua, died on Monday, November 14th. He was born on June 21, 1957 in Rochester, NH, son of the late Robert Roy and Elizabeth (Cummings) Roy.

Stephen attended Spaulding High School in Rochester, NH, before receiving his bachelor's degree from Lowell Tech. He proudly served his country in the United States Coast Guard for five years, and was stationed in Japan and Johnston Atoll during his time in the service. He had a long career of 32 years at BAE Systems of Nashua as a Senior Principle Systems Engineer. Stephen enjoyed playing golf, having lunch with his friends, spending time with family and following New England Sports.

Stephen leaves behind his sister, Kathleen Gardner, and her wife, Jennifer Hall; his brother, Robert "Skip" Roy and his wife, Dena; his brother, Thomas Roy; his nephew, Cory Gardner and his husband, Joseph Bragdon; his nephew, Timothy Gardner, and his wife, Kirby; his nephew, Dave Roy and his wife, Nichole; his niece, Michelle Hargrove, and her husband, Bill; his niece, Kelly Roy; as well as several great nieces and nephews and his entire BAE family. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Services for Stephen will be held Monday, November 21 at the Cremation Society of New Hampshire, 243 Hanover Street, Manchester, NH, with a gathering starting at 3pm and a service at 4pm. Family and friends are invited to attend.

He will be laid to rest at the New Hampshire State Veteran's Cemetery, 110 Daniel Webster Highway, Boscawen, NH at 1pm on June 28, 2017
