Stephen Paul Waible passed away at age 58 on November 12, 2020 at the Community Hospice House in Merrimack NH, with his loving wife and children by his side.
Stephen was born on May 18, 1962, at Saint Albans Hospital in New York City to Jane and Leo Waible II. He graduated from Virginia Tech where he received a Bachelor's degree in Geology. He then began his 34 year career at Raytheon, later receiving his Masters degree in Supply Chain Management at the University of San Diego.
In addition to his parents, Stephen is survived by his wife Valrie and 3 children Vanessa, Stephen II, and Sophia. He also leaves behind his 3 siblings, Leo III, Edward, and Laura, and many loving aunts & uncles, cousins, nieces & nephews, and in-laws that were near and dear to his heart.
Stephen provided countless lifelong memories for his family, friends, and friends who became family that we will all cherish forever. He will be remembered for his many fun traditions; annual cider day, Jaws pool parties, yearly treks up to Bethlehem NH to cut down the family Christmas tree, family ski trips & vacations, and over the top decorating for Halloween & Christmas.
Stephen was known to be one of the most passionate souls; a super fan of the Dallas Cowboys, Boston Red Sox, Star Wars, Lost in Space, and Jaws, to name a few. He was a long time collector of beer cans, Sci-Fi models & movies, light sabers, rocks & minerals, and Hallmark ornaments. He loved to share his eclectic music taste and air guitar skills with all, and attended many concerts throughout his lifetime - one of his favorites being Talking Heads.
Stephen's Memorial Gathering will be held on Saturday, November 21st at 11:00 AM, followed by the Mass of Christian Burial at noon, Celebrated at The Immaculate Conception Church, 216 E Dunstable Road, Nashua NH. Family and friends are invited to attend and honor his memory, all guests are required to wear masks and social distancing will be practiced. The funeral will be live-streamed from http://www.iccnashuanh.org/ starting about 10 minutes before the service begins, 11:50AM. There will be no graveside burial.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his name for GPA, also known as Wegeners, at The Vasculitis Foundation, https://www.vasculitisfoundation.org/donate-to-the-vf/
His time spent on earth, although too short, was full of great adventures and happy memories. Stephen dedicated his life to his family and brought out the fun in every situation, often laughing until he cried. We are honored to celebrate the time between the day he entered this world and the day he left it. He would encourage us all to do the same, with a shot of Jägermeister in hand.
Assisting the family with arrangements is the Cremation Society of New Hampshire, Manchester.
