Steven Richard Hallock, born on February 4, 1954, in Cortland, New York, passed away on June 5, 2025, in Manchester, New Hampshire. He was 71 years old.
Steve grew up in Central New York and graduated from Jamesville-DeWitt High School, where he was a proud member of the school's infamous Radar Defense football team. He went on to pursue his education at the University at Buffalo, NY, laying the foundation for a distinguished professional journey. He built a successful career at Hewlett-Packard (HP), where he served as the Worldwide Manager of Telecom Bids and Proposals. After retiring from the corporate world, he continued his commitment to helping others through his work with Easter Seals New Hampshire.
He is survived by his children, Jacqueline Sylvester and Steven Hallock II; his siblings, Cindy Spencer (Hallock), Greg Hallock, and Jeff Hallock; and his two granddaughters, who brought him great joy. He was predeceased by his brother Randy Hallock and sister Deborah Hallock.
Beyond his professional accomplishments, Steve found joy in the natural beauty of New England. He held a special fondness for iconic landmarks such as The Old Man of the Mountain and the summit of Mount Washington. Hampton Beach was another cherished destination, offering him peace and reflection. Steve also had a unique affection for moose-themed memorabilia and shared a special bond with his beloved cat, Beast.
Steve will be remembered not only for his accomplishments and passions, but also for his sharp wit and unique sense of humor, which brought laughter to those around him.
