Steven Scott Griswold I

Steven Scott Griswold, I, 43, of 105 Garden Drive, Manchester, NH died January 23, 2004, at Catholic Medical Center. He was born in Peterborough, NH on April 28, 1960, the son of James W. Griswold and the late Evelyn (Rockwell) Griswold and resided many years in the Bennington and Peteborough, NH communities, seven years in Bow, NH and the past 10 years in Manchester, NH. Steven was an excellent gourmet cook, loved playing softball and was an avid fisherman. He worked four years for Metal Works, Inc., in Londonderry, NH as a Senior Quality Engineer. Family members include two sons; Steven Scott Griswold, II and Jason Griswold, both of Manchester, his father of Largo, Florida, two brothers; Robert Nay and James Griswold, both of Bennington, NH, three sisters; Jill Young of Bennington, NH, Vicki Weston of Apopka, Florida and Shelley Vayens of Fall River, Massachusetts, his pre-deceased brother, Ward "Buzzy" Nay who died in 2000, several nieces, several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. IN HIS LIFE: Steven enjoyed playing sports with his nieces and nephews. SERVICES: Relatives and friends are welcomed to attend a memorial service for Steven Scott on Wednesday morning, January 28th at 11 O'Clock in Bennington Congregational Church, Bennington, NH. In Lieu of flowers donations may be made to a trust fund for his children and mailed to Granite State Bank, 77 Main Street, P.O. Box 157, Antrim, NH 03440. Checks are made payable to: James Griswold/Steven/Jason. The Cremation Society of New Hampshire is in charge of arrangements.
