Susan Gosselin was born on September 17, 1947, in the state of Oregon. She had two loved brothers. She spent most of her adult life living in the Manchester area of New Hampshire.
At this time the family has decided to keep any events small and informal, thus nothing has been planned. The family wishes for all affected to share their stories and discuss Sue, remembering her for the profound helpful things she has done.
In the mid 70’s Sue met her future and only husband. Although they would later divorce and amicably go their separate ways, they held together a cherished marriage bond for over a decade. They had two children, Chris (oldest son) and Allison (daughter). Alison would later have three children, Aara, Nicholas and Hailey. Chris would also provide a grandchild Rachel. Sue loved her grandchildren and would make many efforts to help with daily event things like picking up from school and taking to plays or events.
Sue did many things throughout her life, including being a substitute teacher, working at a fabric store, and trying to assist older and disabled individuals with Easter Seals. Sue had several passion projects in her life, including helping coordinate Hillsborough County Crafts for a time in the 80’s and 90’s. She had spent a good amount of her life helping those she deemed needed it rather it was helping with sewing projects like blankets or helping friends and family recover from their own health issues. Even as Sue discovered her own relationship to cancer and was given six months to live almost ten years before she died, she remained passionate about helping others.
She loved owls in any form and acquired quite a myriad of different owl things including plush, statues, lights, and drawings. She also loved sewing and creating new things people could use like stuffed animals, blankets, pillows and pants etc.
She will never be quite forgotten and the family asks for all those that remember her kindnesses to pass it forward to others in our community not just today but in their everyday life.
