Susan Mazza

Susan "Sue" Mazza, 49, of Madbury, NH, passed away on May 25, 2023, surrounded by her loved ones. She was a beloved wife, mother, daughter, sister, and friend. She was born on September 20, 1973, to Beverly and George Loomis. Sue attended Wellesley High School, received a bachelor’s degree in nutrition at the University of Vermont where she and her husband Michael Mazza met. Sue continued her education and became a registered dietitian. She worked for town of Wellesley DPW and at Carney Hospital.

Sue was a loving and proud mother of three children, Anna, Isabella, and Michael. A soulmate to her husband Michael. She was known for her kind and thoughtful personality, her sense of humor, athleticism, creativity, and her selfless ways. Many would say “that’s Sue being Sue” as she always put others first. Her strength and courage were admirable throughout her 2-year battle with cancer. Sue fought the fight for her family until the very end. She was a dedicated hockey mom and loved all her dogs, Maui, Elvis, Luna, and Jinx. Sue was involved with her children’s sports teams, either coaching or on the sidelines. She also enjoyed walking, cooking, gardening, and spending time with her family and long-time friends.

A funeral mass will be held in Sue's honor on June 16, 2023, at 10:30 am at Immaculate Conception Church in Stoughton, MA 02072. Sue is survived by her loving husband Michael Mazza, her children, Anna, Isabella, and Michael, her mother Beverly Loomis, her father George Loomis, her sister Amy Grehan and her husband Jack Grehan, her in-laws; Michael and Patricia Mazza, Shaunna Mazza, John and Danielle Simmons, Kevin and Kayla Mazza, nieces, and nephews.
