Susan Ann Moccia, 93, Windham, New Hampshire passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on May 18, 2021.
Susan was born on September 4, 1927 in the Boston's North End, the daughter of the late Salvatore and Maria (Augello) Santangelo, where she married her childhood sweetheart, the late Alfred G Moccia.
Susan is survived by her only son, Salvatore J Moccia and his wife Rebecca of Hampstead, NH, two granddaughters, Christine (Moccia) Bianchi and her husband Craig of York, New York, Pamela (Moccia) Russell and her husband Erick of Windham, NH as well as her 6 great-grandchildren, Anthony Bianchi, Malina Bianchi, Victoria Bianchi, Samantha Bianchi, Nicholas Russell and Alicia Russell and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and her late husband, Susan was predeceased by her bothers Anthony, Joseph and John Santangelo and her sister, Nancy Biarrio.
Susan retired from Stone and Webster, Boston MA working as a Reproduction Operator and moved to Windham NH in 1985. Susan will always be remembered for her delicious Italian cooking and apple pies. For the past 15 years, Susan and her companion, the late Raymond Rochette, together enjoyed their dinners, Sunday mass, Monday food shopping trips and special times with family and friends. They both will be sorely missed. Some of Susan's favorite times were her visits from her grandchildren and great grandchildren leaving her with lots of love, stories, and laughs.
A Mass celebrating Susan's life is scheduledr for 10 AM on Saturday, June 19, 2021 at St. Matthew Catholic Church, 2 Searles Road, Windham, New Hampshire. Internment at St. Michael Cemetery, Forest Hills, MA will be scheduled at a later date. In lieu of flowers, Memorial Donations may be made to the Windham Police Association, 4 Fellows Road, Windham, New Hampshire 03087
