Teresa Mason Chase

Mrs. Teresa Mason Chase, 86, of Tamworth, NH died October 17, 2007 at her home in Tamworth. She was born on September 30, 1921 in Tamworth, the daughter of the late Hiriam “Hi” and Edna (Cummings) Mason. She was raised and educated in Tamworth. Mrs. Chase worked as a clerk and rural carrier for the Tamworth Post Office for 40 years. She enjoyed sports, the Red Sox, motorcycles and riding her motorcycle. She had a great love for her dogs and had raced sled dogs. Mrs. Chase loved her family and enjoyed being around people. She is survived by her three sons, Richard P. Chase of Tamworth, Brian Chase of Tamworth and Douglas A. Chase of Sandwich; 2 grandchildren, Stephanie L. Chase of Portland, Maine and Vincent F. Chase of Tamworth; 1 great grandson, James M. Ulitz of Tamworth; sister, Joyce Jones of Tamworth and several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her husband, Preston N. Chase. As per her wishes there are no calling hours.
