Tgimel John Hassan

Tgimel ''John'' Hassan, 76, of 372 Beech Street, Manchester died on May 9, 2001 at the Elliot Hospital. Mr. Hassan was born on November 23, 1924 in Manchester the son of the late Hussin and Eva (Serard) Hassan. After retiring from the restaurant industry he enjoyed walking and visiting with friends. Family members include; his wife of 31 years, Mary J. (Papciak) Hassan; four sisters, Dorothy Coan and Theresa Coleman both of Manchester, Alice Lapointe of Jacksonville, Florida and Elizabeth ''Betty'' Bobo of Chillicothe, Ohio; two half sisters, Ella Currier and Diane Currier, both of Manchester; one step sister, Lorraine Brown of Manchester; two brothers, Sully Hassan of Hooksett and Iman Hassan of Waterbury, CT; one half brother Liam Morrisette of Manchester; and one cousin, Celia Trorato of Bedford. A private memorial service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Arthritis Foundation, Northern New England Chapter, 6 Chenell Drive, Concord, NH 03301.
