It is with deep sadness that we announce Theodoros Panagopoulos, 86, of Pelham NH, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, September 2, 2026 surrounded by his family.
He was the beloved husband of Elaine (Tsoukalas) Panagopoulos who survives him and with whom he celebrated their 59th anniversary on July 2, 2026.
Born in Lowell Mass, December 28, 1939, the son of the late Nicholas and the late Martha (Petroulas) Panagopoulos.
He attended Lowell schools and graduated with his GED. He also briefly attended the University of Massachusetts Lowell before enlisting in the Marine Corps.
A veteran of the Vietnam War, Theodoros proudly served in the US Marine Corps. Before retiring, Theodoros was employed by Honeywell as well as Datel Inc. Among his many interests he enjoyed golfing, riding his motorcycle, spending time with his family as well as meeting for breakfast with his friends. He was a member of Christian Bible Church in Nashua and served in the men’s ministry. He was also involved with the Gideons while there.
Theodoros is survived by his daughter Nicole (Panagopoulos) Covey of Pelham NH; two grandchildren Kayla Panagopoulos and her partner Nicholas D’Angelo of Litchfield NH and Mariah Covey and her partner Adam Dobek of Hudson NH; as well as his great grandchild Gianna Panagopoulos of Litchfield NH; and many nieces and nephews.
He is predeceased by his siblings Angie Couris, Anthony Panagopoulos, Charles Panas, Louie Panagopoulos, William Panas, Helen Shea, Jennie Fafalios, Margaret Tgibides, Paul Panagopoulos, and George Panagopoulos.
A private service will be held with the immediate family at the New Hampshire State Veterans Cemetery in Boscawen, New Hampshire. A celebration of life will be held with family and friends at a later date. Assisting the family with arrangements is the Cremation Society of NH.
