Theresa "Terry" Roy

Terry Roy died peacefully at the Community Hospice House in Merrimack on October 5, 2022, at the age of 64, with her son Jason by her side.

Terry was born on March 20, 1958, in Goffstown to Leo and Rita (Soucy) Roy. She graduated from Goffstown High School class of 1976. Terry held various management positions in her career. The position she was most passionate and devoted to was working for Ernie’s Excavation.

Terry loved spending time with family and creating wonderful memories with her grandchildren, especially during the holidays. She outdid herself every year with her holiday decorating and Easter egg hunts.

Terry is survived by her son, Jason DiGianni; her parents, Leo and Rita Roy; her beloved partner of many years, Ernie Smith; siblings, Laurie St. Pierre (Denis), Leo Roy (Lori), Kathy Chevrette (Phil) and John Roy (Marcie); and Ernie’s children, Carrie Mayo and David Smith (Sara).

She leaves 8 grandchildren, Lacey, Miah, Alex, Zack, Ana, Moira, Ardyn, Marlo and many nieces and nephews. Terry was predeceased by her son, Joshua DiGianni and granddaughter, Isabella DiGianni.

SERVICES: A memorial gathering will be held on Wednesday, October 12, 2022, from 3:00–5:00PM at the Cremation Society of New Hampshire, 243 Hanover Street, Manchester, NH with a Service of Remembrance beginning at 5:00PM. Family and friends are invited to attend.
