Thomas E. Carr of 1st NH Turnpike, Northwood NH, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday February 28th 2002 after a brief illness. Tom was the son of Roy A. Carr and Ruby Thelma John. He was born in Concord NH on May 26th, 1940. He was raised in Ashland NH and lived most of his life in NH. Tom loved the Jesus as his Lord and Savior, and has served his community and Church in many areas. He was the Cub Scout Master in Northwood in the late 70's. In the 80's he helped, founded and served in the Food Pantry that was located in Epsom Baptist Church. In 1988 after completing a Home Study Course he graduated from Liberty Bible Institute with a Diploma in Bible. He completed many certificate courses in Biblical Counseling and was an ordained Evangelist. For many years he was an active member of Epsom Baptist Church, serving in Children's Church, Sunday School teacher, a leader in Christian Boys Service Brigade, and a very enthusiastic member of the choir. Most recently, he was a member of Grace Bible Fellowship of Concord, NH where he used his voice in a music ministry. He also was active with the Ministry Team, and Foreign Missions at GBF. Tom loved motorcycles and help found The New Covenant Riders chapter of Christian Motorcycle Association. He also was a member of Cornerstone Motorcycle Ministries out of Keene, NH. He loved to ride, serving the Lord and others with his Voice both singing & preaching. Last spring he had the opportunity to travel as a missionary for a short term. He was survived by his wife of 31 years, Judith L Carr of Northwood, four sons, Roy A. Carr of Pepperell, Massachusetts, Thomas R. Carr of Berlin, NH, Todd E. Carr of Rindge NH, and Edward T. Carr of Manchester NH. He was predeceased by a son Alan J. Carr in 1988 and a daughter Jamie E. Carr in 1995. He also leaves a sister Jean E. Boynton of Bristol, NH and a twin brother Robert V. Carr of Candia NH, seven grandchildren, several neices and nephews, aunts and uncles. Tom would want people to know John 3:16--''For God so loved the world that he gave His only begotten son that whosoever believes in Him would not perish but have everlasting life.Donations may be made in Thomas's memory to Make A Wish Foundation, 66 Hanover Street, Manchester, NH 03104.The Cremation Society of New Hamsphire is in charge of arrangments.
