Thomas Raymond Hall, Age 56 succumbed to complications from phenomena after a lengthy & well fought battle. Tom passed away peacefully at 8:25 PM, Tuesday, January 17, 2017 at Elliot Hospital, Manchester NH, surrounded by his loving family and his life-long friend, David Proulx.
Tom and his family are members of St. George Greek Orthodox Church, Manchester NH where Tom served as an altar boy, and later played on the church basketball team. Tom was a 1978 graduate from Manchester Memorial High School, and worked through and after high school as a master mechanic at Ray's Chevron Station, a family owned business in Manchester NH. Upon the passing of his beloved Father, Raymond Hall in 1994, Thomas started his own business, Bedford Quality Coatings, wherein he specialized in floor and wall coatings for custom homes throughout NH and Cape Cod, MA.
Thomas was an avid and skilled surf caster. His favorite fishing location was Plum Island, MA where he spent as much time possible in the summer months. Tom loved motorcycles and fast cars, taking as much pleasure in impeccably maintaining them, as he did driving them. In the fall months Tom enjoyed hunting pheasant and deer, and the view from his favorite tree stand on his friend, Scott's family property in Hooksett, NH. Tom also enjoyed organized hunting trips to remote parts of Canada with friends and family members. In the winter, Tom loved snowmobiling in the deep woods of NH and ME with his family, and the occasional race across frozen lakes in Pittsburg NH. Tom was at his happiest sharing his passion for outdoor activities, and laughing with those he loved.
Thomas is predeceased by his father, Raymond Thaddeus Hall.
Thomas is survived by his Mother, Evangeline Millios Hall, Manchester NH, whom he was devoted to and cared for during her struggles with Dementia, and the onset of Alzheimer's. His wife and best friend of 31 years, Tracie Joly-Hall, Goffstown NH, their Daughter Rebecca Ash-Hall, Manchester NH, his beloved dogs Mia and Oliver Hall, and several nieces and nephews who loved and respected him tremendously.
Services will be 6:00 PM â 8:00 PM, Friday, January 27, 2017 at Phaneuf Funeral Home & Crematorium, 243 Hanover St, Manchester, NH 03104. Wake hours 6:00 PM â 7:30PM. Memorial Service 7:30 PM -8:00 PM. There will be an ocean side scattering of ashes, Saturday, January 28th, at 12:00 noon, on Plum Island, in Massachusetts, followed by a memorial dinner hosted by the family, immediately following the event. All those who would like to attend are welcome to do so.
