Thomas Francis McAllister, 75, Bow, NH, passed peacefully surrounded by family, on May 3, 2024.  The son of Dorothy and Frank McAllister, and brother to Gail Raczka and Rosemary McAllister. As a young boy, he was actively involved in the Boy Scouts and served as an altar boy, and a lifeguard. Tom was a graduate of Bishop Bradley High School, now known as Trinity High School, in Manchester, NH. He excelled in ski racing both in high school and college. During his college years, Tom was the lead singer and bass guitarist of the band, "The Charles." He later graduated from New Hampshire College, now Southern New Hampshire University, with a BS in Management Information Systems.

In 1969, Tom married Anne Marie Roy, and together they shared 54 remarkable years of marriage. They resided in Tallahassee, FL, and Valley Forge, Pennsylvania.

Tom embarked on a successful career in the financial services industry.  He held various leadership roles in operational and technology functions for large banking holding companies and leading software providers. Throughout his career, Tom was known for his entrepreneurial spirit, pioneering initiatives to automate the global financial banking system. He played a key role in early ATM cash access and credit transaction points, contributing to the simplification of global commerce.

In his later years, Tom served in senior executive positions at several venture-backed companies, contributing to the transformation and automation of the global banking system. His expertise took him across the globe, from Latin America to Eastern Europe, Asia, and the Middle East, where he spoke at conferences and led the implementation of large, complex financial technology infrastructure projects. Tom concluded his career as a respected subject matter expert for SAP, supporting their expansion into the financial service industry.

Upon his retirement to New Hampshire, Tom enjoyed living on Lake Winnipesaukee and was an active member of the NH Civil Air Patrol. He was a private pilot for over 40 years and found joy in skiing and fly fishing. Tom was the uncle to seventeen nieces and nephews.  He treasured spending time with his seven grandchildren, Connor Parzick, Olivia Parzick, Gavin Parzick, Anna McAllister, Catherine McAllister, Julia McAllister, and Elizabeth McAllister, from his two children, Stephanie McAllister Parzick, Bow, NH and Kevin McAllister, Owings Mills, MD.

Tom loved his country, New Hampshire, and his family, and will be dearly missed by his family, friends, and community. "Thank you, Dad, for all your love and selfless support. We will remember the life lessons you taught us, to live a life of hard work, character, accountability, and integrity.”
