Timothy J. Callis, 64, of Manchester, NH passed away on September 26, 2019. Timothy was born on January 23, 1955 in Nashville, TN.
Timmy grew up in Manchester NH, the 6th of 8 children raised by Lois Lipp Callis, a loving, hardworking single mother. With his 2 brothers and 5 sisters,Timmy enjoyed all that growing up in Manchester in the 60's and 70's had to offer and Timmy made countless lifelong friends along the way, and never lost his youthful spirit and easy smile.
Tim was a talented stained glass artist. He found peace and calm in his art, and his memory will live on in the beauty of his work. He was an unfailingly kind person and cared deeply about all people. He worked for Meals on Wheels and shared his infectious smile with those he served. Tim spent his last years dedicated to working at the Hillsborough County Nursing Home. He spread joy with his jokes and would play Santa at the holiday celebrations.
Timmy was preceded in death by his mother, Lois, his father, Ewell, his sister Suzanne and his faithful dog Mitto. He is survived by his siblings Marcia, Marion, Debra, Michael, David and Jennifer, and his step family Gayl, Sean, Chris and Siobhan and many nieces and nephews who he enjoyed watching growing up. A special Thank You to all his friends, who were more like family, and completed his life.
In lieu of flowers a donation may be made in his name to the Hillsborough County Nursing Home.
A chance to meet with his family will be held at Cremation Society of New Hampshire, 243 Hanover St, Manchester, NH on Monday, October 14th from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM
