Timothy Craig McKinnon

Timothy Mckinnon passed away at his home Friday October 25th after a long and courageous battle with cancer. Tim went home to be with God surrounded by his family peacefully in his sleep just as he wanted.

Tim enjoyed the outdoors and would go hiking every chance he got. He loved to snowboard, golf, canoe, and take late night drives along the beach singing to whatever song he was feeling that day. No matter the song, he knew every word! Tim worked hard, loved harder, and played the hardest!

Tim struggled in his younger years but made the most out of every situation and always built solid relationships along the way. Once you were part of Tim’s family he loved you fiercely and faithfully. He made you laugh with his constant humor, he supported you in any way he could, and always checked in to make sure you were good.

Tim was the definition of “one of a kind” and will be greatly missed by so many. Those who love Tim have comfort in knowing he is enjoying Heaven and is no longer in pain or having to fight. Tim took peace as well knowing that when he took his last breath here on Earth he would be taking his first breath in the presence of God. In true Tim fashion this past winter he had chosen to be Baptized in the freezing roaring river behind his house in the middle of the night by his long time friend, Pastor B. So this is not goodbye, but see you later…

Tim was a beloved son to Jeffrey & Crista McKinnon, best friend and life partner to Beth Mburu, a great Bonus Dad to Abbianna Mburu, loving brother to Jeffrey, Cassia, Jake & Shaine, the Best Uncle Timmy to Asher, loved Grandson to Robert Bruce and Doreen McKinnon, and nephew, cousin, and friend to so many.

Tim is predeceased by grandparents Kathleen Bruce, Paul Laundry, and John and Linda McKinnon.

There will be a Celebration of Life service held to honor Tim on Sunday November 10th from 11:00 am - 2:00 pm at The Puritan Backroom located at 245 Hooksett Rd. Manchester, NH 03104.
