We celebrate the life of Todd Stephen Whitmarsh, 44, who passed away unexpectedly at his home in Londonderry, NH, in April 2026. Fiercely loved by his family and friends, Todd is—and always will be—honored in the hearts of all who were blessed to truly know him.

Born on August 17, 1981, in Sayre, PA, Todd grew from a boy often found capturing buckets full of snakes into a man whose integrity, intelligence, and loyalty were undeniable and unmatched.

Whether traveling to lesser-known corners of the world, reading books long forgotten, creating technology that impacted millions through his work, or hiking the mountains with his canine confidant, Todd left a lasting imprint—not only on those who knew him, but even on those who didn’t.

Todd loved deeply and without condition. He showed up for others quietly and selflessly, never seeking recognition. Whether serving his country as a member of the United States Air Force, stepping in to protect someone in need, or offering steady support during life’s hardest moments, Todd protected and cared for others in the way only he could.

He was preceded in death by his father, Terry S. Whitmarsh. He is survived by his wife, Paula Whitmarsh; his mother, Collette L. Whitmarsh; his sister, Trisha S. Dawe (Whitmarsh), and brother-in-law, Timothy R. Dawe; his niece, Laney N. Dawe; his nephews, Jackson T. Dawe and Jonathan R. Dawe; his grand-niece; numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins on both the Whitmarsh and Carnrike sides of the family; and his beloved dog, Rajah.

When Todd welcomed you into his life, you became family—and family meant everything to him. He is also survived by many honorary family members, each of whom he valued deeply.

In accordance with Todd’s wishes, no formal services will be held. His ashes will be scattered in the places where he felt most at peace. In lieu of flowers, please honor Todd by holding your loved ones close, gathering with friends, and sharing your memories of him to keep his spirit alive.

We imagine him now sitting beside a campfire with his dad—laughing, sharing stories, and making up for lost time. To honor Todd, revisit the memories you shared with him and carry them forward.

Love each other. Protect each other. Cherish every moment—for Todd.
