Treva Louise Diggins

Treva Diggins, 85, of Nashua, NH, passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, February 11th, 2025, surrounded by her loved ones. Affectionately known as Anna by her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, Treva had a remarkable gift for spreading light and love to everyone around her. Her kindness and beautiful heart radiated through her smile, brightening every room she entered. She was a true warrior who battled and won the fight against two different cancers, constantly reminding us of the power of positive thinking and perseverance.

She shared a beautiful life with Roger Diggins, the love of her life and her husband of 67 years. They fell in love while dancing at a sock hop to "In the Still of the Night" and have been together ever since. Through all of life's challenges, they held tightly to one another and built a life filled with love and laughter. They loved taking walks on the beach, having heartfelt conversations on the porch, and enjoying their pool and backyard with friends and family.

Her children cherish the memories of their mother as a deeply loving, supportive, and resilient woman who was consistently present in every facet of their lives. During their childhood, she had an incredible ability to transform ordinary moments into magical experiences, always finding creative ways to bring joy and laughter into their days, even when resources were scarce. Her love was not just a feeling; it was an unwavering, unconditional force that radiated warmth and comfort. This deep affection and her daily example taught her children a powerful lesson: to embrace and extend the same heartfelt love and dedication to their children, fostering a legacy of kindness, support and unconditional love.

Anna was an energetic and involved grandmother and great-grandmother. She filled her grandkids' lives with adventure and fun, playing video games, swimming, and always giving them her undivided attention. Her home was a place of peace and joyfulness, where her grandchildren felt safe and loved unconditionally, sometimes even hiding under her bed to avoid leaving! She was genuinely interested in their lives and loved hearing about their latest adventures. She made visits fun and memorable by creating unique crafts and games for them to enjoy.

Treva also loved to travel, often taking trips with her sisters and family, particularly to the beach. She loved playing bingo with friends and expressed her creativity as a talented artist, spending hours in her art room crafting beautiful paintings. A devoted fan of all New England sports, her cheers of "Nail 'em!" will be missed on game days.

Treva encouraged everyone to seek out the sunshine and embrace the positive side of life. Her reminder that "Today is the day you worried about yesterday, and all is well" will continue to inspire us to live fully.

Treva is survived by her devoted husband, Roger Diggins; her sister, Sandra Darling; her brother, Peter Turla, and his partner, Kathleen Hawkins; her sons, Tony Diggins and his wife, Sue; Steve Diggins and his wife, Kim; her daughter, Lynne Tocci, and her husband, Ron; and her daughter-in-law, Margie Diggins. She leaves behind her beloved grandchildren: Molly Diggins, Sarah Diggins, Katie Taylor and her husband, Arthur, Emily Diggins, Nick Tocci and his husband, Christopher Szczerba, Sam Diggins, and Sean Diggins, along with her cherished great-grandchildren, Reagan, Parker, Carter, and Maggie and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her sister, Betty Darling; her brother, Tony and his wife, Carmen; her brother, Stanley Darling; and her son, Jeffrey Diggins.
