It is with deepest sadness that we announce the passing away of Tyler Merrill on Monday, July 4, 2022 at the age of 31.

 

Tyler was born in Manchester, NH on September 1, 1990 and grew up in Hooksett, NH. He then resided in Manchester, NH.

 

Tyler graduated from West High School with high honors. He was a gifted trumpet player through Jr. high and high school.  He played solos at many high school football games. He then attended New Hampshire Technical Institute to study computer science.

 

Those who knew Tyler will miss his humor, his soft and generous heart and caring ways. He was deeply loved by his family and friends and he loved them equally.

 

Tyler’s joy and passion was computers and was an expert in many aspects of them.  He helped fixed many people’s computer problems and enjoyed building them.

 

He also loved playing the drums. Enjoyed cooking and eating and anything he made was the best entree.

He enjoyed doing the stocks with his father.

 

Tyler was a very dedicated employee and worked very hard.  He worked many years in the food industry from the deli at Walmart to Fresh Market and Whole Foods where he prepared the foods and was always proud of his food cabinet displays that always looked colorful, beautiful and perfect as well as working as a Boars Head ambassador.

 

His last 3 years, he was employed at Leslie Pools in Manchester as an assistant manager and worked an online job at Lion Bridge, last 6 years, he would start working on after coming home from working his long work day. He was such a dedicated hard worker who gave it his all, always making sure the store was stocked and perfect before he would end his long day.

 

Tyler was the son of his loving mom, Pamela Merrill, his father Tony (Anthony) Stephen, sisters, Haley Perrault and Shaylee Stephen, stepdad, Jeff Perrault.  He was predeceased by his dad of 14 years, Wayne R. Basnar and grandparents, Gerald and Ruth Basner, Nana, Janice Merrill and Pa Leonard Merrill.

 

Additional family members include; his aunts, Theresa Siegler, Penny Race, Lori Bridges, Sue Basnar-Chapman, Pam Steers, Laurie Stock Bridge, Joy Hebert and Linda Merrill, uncles, David Seigler, Jerry and Jimmy Basnar, cousins, Jasmine Soleyn and her husband Andy, Justin and Jason Race, Natasha, Aiden Merrill, and many more aunts, uncles and cousins.

 

Tyler will be greatly missed by his entire family, friends and all who had the opportunity to know him.

 

SERVICES: A memorial gathering will be held on Monday, July 11, 2022 from 6 – 8 PM at Cremation Society of NH, 243 Hanover Street, in Manchester, NH.
