Verna Louise Fournier, 80, died at the Community Hospice House in Merrimack on Sunday February 15, 2009.
She was born in Greenfield, NH to Maurice M. Fournier and Doris L. Salisbury. Verna moved to Milford at age 3 months and graduated from Milford High in 1946.
She worked for Hitchiner Manufacturing for 30 years, retiring in 1992.
She was a member of the Souhegan Valley chapter AARP, Milford Women’s club, Cellini Club at Hitchiner, Helping Hands at Milford United Methodist church. She was a lifelong member of the Milford United Methodist Church.
She leaves one brother, Laurence S. Fournier of Amherst, NH and her cousins.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday February 21, 2009 at 2:00 PM at the Milford United Methodist Church, 327 North River Road, Milford, NH.
In lieu of flowers, Memorial donations can be made to the Community Hospice House, 210 Naticook Road, Merrimack, NH. 03054. The Cremation Society of NH assisted the family with the arrangements.
