Vernon C. Tillotson

Vernon C. Tillotson, 82, of 50 Melvin Mills Road, Warner died on September 8, 2001 at Odd Fellows Home in Concord after a lengthy illness. Mr. Tillotson was born on December 12, 1918 in Plattsburgh, NY the son of the late J. Banks and Martha (Woop) Tillotson. For many years he worked as an advertising executive in New York City. He had lived in Briarcliff Manor, New York before moving to New Hampshire in 1980. He was a US Army Captain and served as a medical officer during World War II. Family members include; his wife of 16 years, Bette Tillotson; one son Scott Tillotson of Las Vegas, Nevada; one daughter, Patricia Jorgensen of Hopewell Junction, New York; three stepsons, Carl Buczala of Rowley, MA, Daniel Buczala of Dunbarton, New Hampshire and Robert Buczala of Boezman, Montana; one stepdaughter, Susanne Hutchinson of Portland, Oregon; three grandchildren; one sister, Shirley McKeon of North Carolina; several nieces and nephews. A Memorial Reception will be held on Tuesday, September 11th from 6:00 until 7:00 PM with a Memorial Service at 7:00 PM at the Cremation Society of New Hampshire (an affiliate of Phaneuf Funeral Home), 243 Hanover Street, Manchester, NH.
