Victoria E. Boehmke, 55, of Bow, died on Tuesday, April 27, 2004 at the Concord Regional Visiting Nurses Association Hospice House, after a lengthy illness with transformed non-Hodgkin's lymphoma. Mrs. Boehmke was born on May 2, 1948 in Chicago, IL, the daughter of the late Richard and Gladys (Curnow) Hart. Mrs. Boehmke graduated from Wauconda High School, Wauconda IL. Later she earned a nursing diploma from Illinois Masonic Medial Center, Chicago IL, where she specialized in labor and delivery healthcare. In subsequent years, Mrs. Boehmke held similar positions in White Plains, NY, Cambridge, MA and Concord, NH. Later, she worked in special education administration at the Merrimack Valley High School in Penacook, NH. Most recently, she worked in the customer service department for Lightship Telecom, LLC, in Bedford, NH. A ten-year resident of Bow, NH, Mrs. Boehmke was active in town recreation programs and a strong supporter of all high school sports activities. She enjoyed gardening, sewing and crocheting. Family members include; her husband of 28 years, Phillip F. Boehmke; two surviving children, Benjamin P. Boehmke, age 22, and Margaret A. (Molly) Boehmke, age 20. A third child, Matthew M. Boehmke, died shortly after birth in 1979. Mrs. Boehmke is also survived by her sister, Kim P. Hart of Island Lake, IL. Carol Alfieri of Barrington, IL, age 70, a special friend and caregiver, also survives her. All her family and friends will sadly miss her. A memorial service commemorating her life will be held this Sunday, May 2, 2004 at 2:00 pm, at St. Paul's Church, 21 Centre Street, Concord, NH 03301 with the Reverend David Jones presiding.
