It is with profound sadness and deep love that we announce the passing of Victoria Camacho Cruz, affectionately known to many as "Vicky," on August 31, 2026, at the age of 81. Born on August 10, 1945, in Agana, Guam, Victoria lived a life defined by unwavering faith, boundless love, and devotion to family.

Victoria dedicated many years of service to the Department of Veterans Affairs before her retirement. Throughout her life, she found tremendous joy in music and worship. One of her most treasured experiences was traveling to the Vatican in 2016, where she had the honor of singing during the Jubilee Celebration of Mercy alongside her cherished friends from the St. Joseph’s Cathedral choir.

Above all else, Victoria's greatest joy was her family. She was a loving mother, grandmother, wife, and friend whose life revolved around those she loved. She treasured family traditions, especially Wednesday dinners at Nana’s and Tata's and Sunday brunches spent together, moments that created lasting memories and strengthened the bonds she held so dear. Her warmth, generosity, laughter, and steadfast love will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew her.

Victoria is lovingly remembered by her children, Michelle Cruz, Steven Cruz, Kathryn Caron (Brian), and Jason Cruz (Allison); and by her beloved grandchildren, Avary Cruz, Jackson Caron, and Elliot Cruz.

While our hearts are broken by her loss, we find comfort in knowing that Victoria has been reunited with her beloved husband of 60 years, Larry Cruz. Together again, they rest in the eternal warmth and peace of the Lord's embrace.

Victoria's legacy is one of faith, love, family, and kindness. She leaves behind a family strengthened by her example and countless friends whose lives were enriched by her presence. Though she is no longer with us in body, her spirit will remain a guiding light for generations to come.

Larry Cruz and Victoria Cruz will be interred together at the New Hampshire Veterans Cemetery during a private family ceremony.
