With profound grief, we announce that our beloved mother, Vijaya Deshmukh, aged 86, peacefully departed for heavenly abode on June 2nd, 2026, surrounded by her close family. She was a devoted wife, loving mother, grandmother, and proud great-grandmother, and the eldest among six siblings.

She was a believer and deeply rooted in Vedic philosophy, which guided her values and way of life. She will be remembered for her strong will, enthusiasm, and zest for life. A true food critic and connoisseur, she especially enjoyed desserts, along with music, sunshine, and being outdoors.

Above all, she loved her family passionately and made it her life’s mission to keep everyone connected and together. Her presence was the heart of every gathering, and her love continues to bind the family she so deeply cherished. She will be greatly missed and lovingly remembered by all.

She is survived by her loving husband, Vishweshwar Deshmukh, with whom she shared 72 wonderful years of marriage, along with her four children; Vivek Deshmukh, Vinay Deshmukh, Vilas Deshmukh, and Varsha Purandare, and their spouses, eight grandchildren and their spouses, and four great-grandchildren.
