With profound grief, we announce that our beloved mother, Vijaya Deshmukh, aged 86, peacefully departed for her heavenly abode on june 2nd, 2026, surrounded by her close family.

She was a devoted wife, loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and the eldest among seven siblings.

She was a woman of great faith and deeply rooted in Vedic Philosophy, which guided her values and way of life. she will be remembered for her strong will, enthusiasm, and zest for life. A true food critic and connoisseur, she especially enjoyed desserts, along with music, sunshine, and being outdoors.

Above all, she loved her family passionately and made it her life’s mission to keep everyone connected and together. Her presence was the heart of every gathering, and her love continues to bind the family she so deeply cherished.

She will be greatly missed and lovingly remembered by all.

Vijaya is survived by her loving husband, Vishweshwar Deshmukh. Together, they shared 72 wonderful years of marriage and built a loving family that includes their children, Vivek, Vinay, Vilas, and Varsha, and their spouses; eight grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
