“One gift, above all others,God gives to us to treasure -One that knows no time, no place And one gold cannot measure. The precious, poignant, tender gift of Memory”

Vincent C. Arinello Jr., lovingly known as Chickie, passed away peacefully at the age of 81 on October 23, 2025, in Merrimack, New Hampshire, surrounded by the love of his family.

Born on February 12, 1944, in Everett, Massachusetts, Chickie lived a life full of humor and service. After graduating from Everett High School, he proudly enlisted in the United States Army and later the United States Air Force, where he traveled the world and bravely served in the Vietnam War. He retired in 1983 as a decorated Master Sergeant and went on to enjoy a second career with the U.S. Postal Service.

Chickie’s life was full of love, laughter, and quiet generosity. His greatest joy was spending time with his beloved family, and he found peace and pride in the outdoors—especially tending to his immaculate lawn, admired by all who passed by. Whether teeing off with lifelong friends or sharing entertaining stories at family barbecues, Chickie’s days were brimming with camaraderie.

He was known for his quick wit and sparkling humor, always ready with a clever remark and a warm smile. His kindness was effortless and abundant—he gave freely and loved deeply, greeting everyone with a kiss. Chickie’s legacy is one of a life well lived.

Vincent is survived by his devoted wife, Maureen Arinello (Dunn); his children, Diane Corina (Arinello) and her husband James Corina, and Stephen Arinello and his wife Janice Arinello (DeChiaro); and his five adored grandchildren: Mary Corina, Donna Corina, Charles Arinello, Louis Arinello, and Gabriel Arinello. He is also survived by his brothers, Paul Arinello and Lawrence Arinello; his sisters-in-law, Kathleen and Jutta Arinello; and his brother-in-law, Stephen Dunn, and his wife, Laura.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Vincent Arinello Sr. and Eleanor Arinello Souza; his stepmother, Mildred Arinello; his brother, Robert Arinello; and his sister-in-law, Marie Arinello.
