Vincent Joseph Powell, 80, of 45 Ridgewood Road, Bedford, died July 28, 2002, at Ridgewood Health Care Center in Bedford, NH. He was born July 27, 1922, in Bertha, Pennsylvania and was the son of the late Joseph and Anna (Wolensky) Powell and had lived most of his life in the Massachusetts area. Mr. Powell moved to New Hampshire in 1984 and lived in Bedford, NH since 1989. He was a W.W. II Army Veteran and was awarded two bronze stars. Mr. Powell was previously employed with Tobin Brothers, Inc. in Northampton, Massachusetts. He is the widower of Anna (Dorko) Powell who died in 1963. Family members include three daughters, Betty Ann Camarda of Virginia Beach, Virginia, Beverly Kimenski of Marianna, Pennyslvania and Gerry Paquette of Merrimack, NH., his pre-deceased son, Timothy Powell who died in 1973, three grandchildren, several nephews and nieces. SERVICES: Relatives and friends are welcomed to a memorial mass for Mr. Powell on Thursday, August 1st at 10 AM in Our Lady of Mercy Church, 16 Baboosic Lake Road, Merrimack, NH. Donations may be made to the NH State Veteran Cemetery, c/o Cemetery Office, 4 Pembroke Road, Concord, NH 03301.
