One of Violas favorite stories was that day the day she was born, the doctor who was called to the house told the family that she probably won't survive the night and that he would make out the death certificate and sign it when she passed in the morning. Viola liked to be active and traveled to many of the National Parks and went to many of the Morganthall Family reunions in Maryland

One of Violas passions was that she made Afghans for each of her children and most of her grandchildren and many of her great grandchildren. She also made many hand made dolls. Viola loved to grow African Violets.

After moving to Hampton NH, she became active in The First Baptist Church of Hampton and ran the Food Pantry there for many years. She later moved to Seabrook NH where she resided for many years.

Viola was predeceased by her husband Ronald who passed in 1977. She was also predeceased by her beloved granddaughter Lauren Eaton in 2021.
