Violet May Bickford

Violet May (Sharpe) (Cachion) Bickford, 76, of 23 Crescent Street, Salem, NH died October 1, 2001, at Holy Family Hospital, Methuen, MA. She was born May 13, 1925, in Salem, Ma., the daughter of the late Hazen and Flora (King) Sharpe and resided most of her life in Sandown, NH. Mrs. Bickford was a resident of Salem, NH for the past 10 years. She was retired from Western Electric after 30 years of faithful service. May is the beloved mother of her son William Joseph Cachion of Sandown, NH, her four daughters, Maureen McCaffrey Lafond of Salem, NH, Kathleen Cachion Drowne, Susan Cachion Latham and Kim Bickford Brady, all of Sandown, NH, grandmother to nine grandchildren, Cara Lafond Walker, Richard James Lafond, Jr., Erin Cachion Osborne, Alyssa Katherine Cachion, David Frederick Drowne, Jennifer Joanne Latham, Thomas Jonathan Latham, Jason William Latham and Joshua Brady, five great grandchildren, and special loved ones, Melissa Perry Cross of Washington, DC and Wayne Bickford of Derry, NH and close friends and relatives. SERVICES: A Memorial Service will be held on Friday morning, October 5, 2001, at 10 o'clock in St. Matthew United Methodist Church, Main Street, Sandown, NH. Donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, 360 Route 101 Unit 501, Bedford, NH 03110. The Cremation Society of New Hampshire is in charge of arrangements.
