Virginia Dee (Cosma) Hill, 68, died February 24, 2017 at the Concord Regional VNA Hospice House in Concord NH.
She was born in Manchester NH, December 18, 1948, to Michael and Andriana (Papageorge) Cosma. She graduated from Keene State College with a B.A. in English. She graduated from Notre Dame College in Manchester NH with an M.A. in Counseling.
She taught English at Central High School in Manchester. She was a guidance counselor at Center Woods Elementary School in Weare NH for seventeen years. She enjoyed the poetry of Emily Dickinson, Robert Frost, and Wallace Stevens, her favorite being Stevens's "Sunday Morning."
She is survived by her brother Michael J. Cosma Jr and her cat Simon. She was predeceased by her mother and father, and her husband, Gardner F. Hill, who for 31 years on WKXL hosted the radio talk show Party Line.
The graveside service will be held at Woodlawn Cemetery, Concord NH at 11am on March 2, 2017.
