Virginia K. Ward, 95, died at her home on July 17, 2020 after a long period of failing health. Born in Haverhill Massachusetts on June 16, 1925 to George Beal and Maybelle (Mansfield) Beal, she moved to New Hampton, NH at age 2 and spent her childhood there.
Virginia attended elementary school in New Hampton and graduated from Bristol High School. While working for the FBI in Washington DC, she met her husband Arthur when he was in the US Navy. They eventually married and made their home in New Jersey until they retired.
Ginny was predeceased by her parents, sister Micki Clark, her husband Arthur in 2019, and by their only son Stephen.
She is survived by her nephew Michael (Jeanne) Clark, who she and Arthur lived with since 2015, nephew Daniel (Linda) Clark, and niece Diane (Bob) Clark-Holland, a grandson Christopher (Sylvia) Ward, nephew Joseph Vopelak, niece Karen Reed as well as many cousins and close friends.
Her family would like to thank Pemi-Baker Community Health and Hospice for the excellent care she received for the last several years.
There will be a committal service at a later date for she and Arthur at the NH Veteran's Cemetery in Boscawen NH.
