Wallace John Fye

Mr. Wallace John Fye, 47, of Manchester died suddenly September 8, 2007 in Manchester. He was born on September 21, 1959 in Goffstown, NH the son of Ira and Irene (Mains) Fye of Manchester. He was raised and educated in Manchester. He served in the US Marine Corps from 1979 to 1983. Mr. Fye had worked most recently as a custodian at the Y in Manchester. Over the years, he had worked at Velcro as an apprentice electrician and the Hooksett Highway Dept. John enjoyed hunting, fishing and was an avid outdoorsman. He also enjoyed walking and walked everywhere. John was a gentle giant who loved kids and animals. He also had a great sense of humor and enjoyed making others laugh. Besides his parents, Ira and Irene Fye of Manchester, he is survived by his step daughter, Tabitha and her children; brother, Ira Fye, Jr. of Manchester, Eveline Ontiri of Manchester, Susan Naum of Auburn, Vicki Richard of Manchester and Shelia Severance of Hooksett and several nieces, nephews and cousins. His Memorial Gathering will be on Friday from 11:00 AM to 12:00PM in the Chapel of the Cremation Society of NH, 243 Hanover St, Manchester with his service at 12:00PM. Burial with military honors will follow at the NH Veterans Cemetery in Boscawen.
