Walter J Kostyk, 77, of Manchester NH died Sunday June 7, 2026, peacefully surrounded by family after a 2-year battle with metastatic lung cancer.

Walter was born September 29, 1948, In Nashua NH, the son of late Michael S Kostyk Sr, and Rita A (Poliquin) Kostyk. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his brother’s Richard “Roy” Kostyk, Robert Kostyk, Michael Kostyk Jr, Gary Kostyk, and his longtime partner of 43 years, Linda Schwartz.

Walter is survived by his daughter, Amy Miller and her husband Brian of Penacook NH. Four grandchildren, Savannah, Katelynn, Kaleb and Taryn, 7 great grandchildren and Linda’s son, Jeffrey Schwartz and his wife Susan of Nashua NH.

In his spare time, Walter loved having parties with his friends and especially enjoyed hunting and fishing, with his neighbors Mike and Dennis. He had a passion for carpentry and loved to tell stories about the various jobs he did over the years, including the work in his own home. He built many lifelong relationships with people he worked with over the years.
