Walter E. Marshall Jr., 68, of Boscawen went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Thursday, June 22, 2017 after a short period of declining health. He was surrounded by his loving family.
Walter was born in Concord, NH on January 30, 1949 to Walter and Dorothy (Miller) Marshall. He was a lifelong resident of the Concord area and owner of Concord Cab. Walter served in the Army National Guard in the late 60s and early 70s and was a founding member of Redeeming Grace Baptist Church. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle, playing guitar, and watching NASCAR, but his deepest joy came from spending time with his family.
Walter is survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Toni (Capobianco) Marshall; his children, Walter E. Marshall III of Pembroke and Derek A C Marshall and his wife, Aryn of Boscawen; his sister, Barbara (Grey) Orton of Bow; nine grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. In addition to his parents, Walter was predeceased by his brother, Ralph Almon Grey and his sisters, Gloria (Grey) Wescomb and Grace (Grey) Prive.
Family and friends are invited to gather Tuesday, June 27th 2:00pm-3:00pm at The Cremation Society of NH, 172 King Street in Boscawen. A memorial service will follow immediately in the Cremation Society Chapel. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Penacook-Boscawen Rescue Squad, 1 Oak Street, Penacook NH 03303. The Cremation Society of NH is assisting the family with arrangements.
