Walter G. Umlah, 47 of Melissa Dr. Nashua, NH died on January 15, 2004 at his home. Husband of Linda (Huber) Umlah, son of James and Naomi (Pierce) Umlah of Medford, MA He worked for many years doing carpentry and construction. He was last employed by Tewksbury Hospital. He loved fishing and gardening and was an avid collector of sports cards and record albums. Along with his wife, and his father James and his wife, June, he leaves a daughter and son-in-law Julie and Erik Emond of Hudson, NH, Son Jeremy Umlah of Nashua, NH, Grandson, Matthew Stemska Jr. Hudson, NH. He was the oldest of thirteen children and leaves six sisters and six brothers; Kenny and Kathleen Umlah of Yuma, AZ; Carrie and Tom Kraft of Malden, MA; Rachel Bradley of Malden MA Jamie and Taylor Moynihan of Exeter, NH William and Gayle Umlah of Gates, NC, Stephen and Liz Umlah of Revere, MA, Naomi and Rodger Vautour of Everett, MA, Ernest Umlah of Lynn, MA, Christopher and Ellen Umlah of Medford, MA, Nancy Umlah of Malden, MA, Holly Umlah of Medford, MA, Scott and Krystole Umlah of Yuma, AZ and their families, other relatives and many friends. Memorial Service to be held at Community Baptist Church 470 Fulton Street Medford, MA, on Saturday, January 24, 2004 at 11:00 a.m. Private burial will be at Oak Grove Cemetery in Medford.
