Walter W. Ward

Walter William Ward, affectionately known as Billy, aged 56, from Manchester, NH, passed away peacefully at home on April 30, 2024. He was born on November 16, 1967, in Atlanta, GA, to Lawrence Ward and Karen (Strem) Ward. Billy shared a decade of joy with his beloved "wife," Nicole Ouellette.

Billy was cherished by all who crossed his path. His boundless sense of humor brightened every room he entered. He embraced life with passion, working hard and relishing every moment. During moments of relaxation, he found enjoyment in pursuits such as kayaking, playing cribbage, watching adorable animal documentaries, tuning into the History Channel, and occasionally indulging in a "chick flick" for the sake of love. Known for his unwavering loyalty, Billy would give endlessly without expecting anything in return. His dance moves were the stuff of legend, bringing joy to all who witnessed them. He leaves behind a void in the hearts of those who knew him.

Billy is survived by his devoted "wife," Nicole Ouellette of Manchester, NH; his mother, Karen (Strem) Ward of Nashua, NH; his three sons, Dakota Ward, Shane Ward, and Damon Ward, all of Lowell, MA; his brother, Steven Ward, and sister-in-law, Carmen, of Nashua, NH; his sister, Laurie Lamarche; his sister, Janine Cadger, and her husband, Jason, of Dracut; as well as numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews and many friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Lawrence Ward, and his brother, Jonathan Ward.

In accordance with Billy's wishes, there will be no formal memorial service. Instead, he asked that you hold onto your fondest memories of him in your hearts and minds. This was all he ever desired.
