Wayne Lawrence Savage, 75, of Manchester, New Hampshire, passed away peacefully on June 9, 2026, after a brief illness. Born on July 14, 1950, in Manchester, Wayne was the son of Oria Denault (Stone) and Edward Denault. He was predeceased by his older brother, George Savage.
Wayne was known for his strong work ethic and many talents. During his career, he worked for Raytheon and later owned and operated several successful auto body businesses. Earlier in life, he raised, trained, raced, and showed blue-ribbon horses. He also enjoyed restoring vintage cars and participating in demolition derbies.
In later years, Wayne found his greatest joy in the outdoors. He loved spending time hunting and fishing and cherished the peace and beauty of nature.
Wayne is survived by his daughter, Donna Savage-Rigg and her husband, Mark; his sons, Dylan Malone and Austin Jacobs; and his stepson, Robert Kendrick. He also leaves behind his grandchildren, Eric Savage and his wife, Leela; Jessica Gagnon and her husband, Thomas; Olivia Rigg; and Vincent Rigg; as well as his great-grandchildren, Sophia Supry, Kaydance Supry, Ruby Supry, and Harper Supry. Wayne will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by his family, friends, and all who knew him.
A memorial gathering to celebrate Wayne's life will be held on Saturday, June 20, 2026, from 4:00 p.m - 5:30 p.m. with a memorial service to follow immediately after at The Cremation Society of New Hampshire, 243 Hanover Street, Manchester, NH 03104.
