Wendelyn S. Winkley

Wendelyn “Wendy” S. Winkley, 42, of Wells, ME died peacefully on April 9, 2004 at York Hospital after a long battle with cancer. Wendy was born on August 1, 1961 in Rochester, NH the daughter of Leo and Virginia (Campbell) Winkley of Rochester. She graduated from Rochester High School in 1979. She was an organ and piano teacher in Dover at Keyboard World. She moved to Southern Maine ten years ago and had worked as a manager for several convenience stores the area. Besides her parents, family members include her brother, Brian Winkley and his wife, Lisa of Rochester, her sister, Shanda and her husband Michael Cahill of Wells, ME, three nieces, Krista Cahill, Ariana Winkley and Abigail Winkley, and several aunts, uncles and cousins. She also leaves behind her extended family at Grace Community Church. There will be a Memorial Service on Wednesday, April 14th at 10:00 AM at Grace Community Church, 159 Rochester Hill Road in Rochester. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Grace Community Church, 159 Rochester Hill Road, Rochester, NH 03867 for the Wendelyn Winkley Scholarship Fund.
