Wilbur Simpson

Wilbur ("Bill") Leroy Simpson, Jr., died July 7, 2016, at his home in Bedford, NH. Born in Boston, MA on January 3, 1934, son of late Wilbur Leroy, Sr. and Ruth (Howell) Simpson. Graduated Belmont High School (Class of '51). Worked as insurance investigator and award-winning salesman for many years. Beloved husband of 54 years to the late Marilyn (Campbell) Simpson. Dad to Laurie Scott, David & Leslie Simpson, James, and Andrew & Andi Simpson. Grandpa to Ian, Colin, Connor, & Samantha. Brother to Constance (Simpson) & Robert Dumont. Uncle to Linda DesRochers and Bobby Dumont. Also leaves behind many relatives and friends in Canada and closer to home.

Patron of the arts, advocate for change, avid Boston Sports fan, raconteur and breakfast aficionado. Private interment in Bedford, NH. A memorial service to be announced at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Bill's name to: Community Hospice House, Merrimack, NH, or the Boston Living Center (of Victory Programs), Boston, MA.
