Wilfred A Kaeble

Wilfred Arthur Kaeble, 73, of Walpole, NH, passed away peacefully in his sleep on the early morning of July 27, 2025, after some heart problems that started suddenly.

Will was born on May 16, 1952, to the late Arthur R. Kaeble and Evelyn D. (Chartier) Kaeble. He grew up in Chicopee, MA, and graduated from Chicopee Comprehensive High School in 1970. He proudly served in the United States Marine Corps from 1970-1974. While in the Military he married his wife Karen (Smith) Kaeble who sadly passed in 2017.

Will graduated from Springfield Technical Community College in 1980, earning an associate’s degree in heating and air conditioning technology. Much of his career after college was spent servicing and inspecting nuclear reactors all over the United States. He later switched careers in the late 90’s and became a salesman of HVAC systems in North Carolina. In his later years, him and his wife Karen moved back to New England where he became a handyman and worked on many home renovation projects for his clients.

Will enjoyed the outdoors very much. In his younger years, he was an assistant scoutmaster for his son’s Boy Scout Troop (Troop 78 in Agawam, MA). After he retired, he slowed down a bit but never stopped. He loved to be active. Some of his favorite things to do were working in his garden, cooking, listening to rock & roll, mowing his grass and wood working. He created many beautiful pieces of furniture in his lifetime. He was also a very talented guitar player and learned to play at the age of 9 on his father’s 1944 Epiphone.

Will leaves behind his loving son Joshua and daughter Joanna, grandchildren, Hanna and Joseph and his brothers Ronnie Kaeble, Danny Kaeble and best friend and brother Mike Kaeble. He also leaves behind his niece and nephew Alexa and Tony, four great nieces and nephews (The 4 M’s) and his good friend Richard the mail man.

From his son, Joshua:

My father was a simple guy that kept to himself, but he was a really good man. He was always there to help someone in need and never asked for anything in return. After my mother passed away, I came to live with him because I wanted to take care of him and make sure that he had everything that he needed. We ended up taking care of each other, and he became the best friend a guy could ever have. I thought we had many more years together, but I’m so grateful for the years that we did have. I’m so blessed to have had the opportunity to serve him in hospice for nearly a week. It was the biggest honor of my life. Dad, I’m never going to forget you. You’re always going to live in my heart. Thanks for being you, Mr K!

By the way, Your way of washing dishes is the better way!
