William Barry

William Barry (Bill), 79, formerly of South Boston, MA passed away May 12, 2023 after a period of declining health.

Bill is survived by his brother Brian Barry and wife Valerie; four daughters, Jackie Barry, Jolene Reese, Danyelle Barry, and Courtney Weymouth and husband Pete; four grandchildren, Lauren, Bobby, Shaun, and Daniel; two great grandchildren TJ and Aaliyah; as well as nieces, nephews, and friends he considered family. He is predeceased by his mother Virginia and brother Francis.

Before retirement Bill was a long-time truck driver, and a veteran of the US Marine Corps. He was a devoted father and grandfather and enjoyed spending time with close friends and family. He enjoyed camping, going “up north”, making people laugh, and giving people a hard time. You could always count on Bill for a laugh, potentially at the expense of himself. Bill welcomed many people into his life and considered them family, regardless of blood relation. He will be greatly missed by many.

A service at his final resting place, The New Hampshire Veterans Cemetery in Boscawen, NH will be held on May 24, 2023 at 2pm.

A celebration of life will be held at The Sanborn Hill Farm, 2305 Wakefield Rd, Sanbornville NH, on June 4, 2023 at 2pm.
