William 'Bill' Henry Connery III

William "Bill" Henry Connery III passed away peacefully in the comfort of his Milford, NH home on the morning of December 19, 2024. Born on July 2, 1942, in Clinton, MA, he was the eldest son of the late William Henry Connery Jr. and Eleanor (Chamberlain) Connery. He was predeceased by his sister Karen Connery, brother Kevin Connery and his cherished wife of 37 years, Joan Connery.

Bill was a man of many passions and talents. A veteran of the Air Force. A plastics engineer. A detailed storyteller with a flair for weaving humor and history. A connoisseur of fine scotch and cigars. A master of turkey roasting. An enthusiast of vintage race cars and sleek Mini Coopers. A prolific reader who never stopped learning. Known affectionately by his family as "Poppi," Bill took pride in being the first to teach his children and grandchildren how to drive, always passing on his love for the open road. Impeccably dressed and ever ready for a good time, Bill’s vibrant personality left a lasting impression on all who knew him.

He is survived by his daughters, Taryn Connery and her husband, Vipat Raksakulthai, of North Hampton, NH and Talia Connery and her husband, David Graham, of North Hampton, NH. He is also remembered fondly by his stepchildren: Deanna Sullivan and her husband, Chris, of Francestown, NH; Darrell Bergeron and his wife, Natasha, of Exeter, NH; and Justin Bergeron and his wife, Lauren, of Dublin, NH. Bill was a proud and devoted grandfather to his eight grandchildren: Wyn and Vinai Raksakulthai; Gray and Oona Graham; Drew and Dillon Sullivan; and Casey and Matilda Bergeron.

Bill’s love, laughter and wisdom will be deeply missed but will live on in the hearts of his family and friends. His legacy is one of joy and devotion to those he loved most.

A celebration of both Bill and Joan’s life will be held this Spring for family and friends. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made in his honor to Hospice Foundation of America 1707 L Street NW, Suite 220 Washington, DC, 20036 .
