William "Bill" Curtis Lee Jr died peacefully in his sleep on February 6, 2026 after a long battle with Parkinson's Disease, he was 74.

Bill grew up in Scituate, MA, son of William C. Lee Sr and Peggy K. Hurney and brother to 6 siblings. He spent the majority of his life on the South Shore of Massachusetts living in Hingham (33 yrs), Plymouth (6yrs), before moving to Hollis, NH to be closer to family. He married Carol Desotell Lee in 1977 and they recently celebrated their 48th wedding anniversary. A distinguished Salesman, Bill worked as a Sales Representative for MD Stetson Co. for 42 years and Trecan Snowmelters for 30 years.

Sharing a lifelong passion of the water, Bill and Carol, spent years on boats, seeking out the next great adventure. After years of navigating the open ocean, he made the transition to Lake Winnipesaukee, becoming a proud member of the Spinnaker Cove Yacht Club, sharing his passion with his family and friends.

One of Bill's most impressive accomplishments was his ability to build a home. With a keen eye for design, hard work, and an incredible commitment to craftsmanship, he turned two empty lots of land into beautiful, functional homes. His proudest work, however, was building a playhouse for his daughters, complete with a slide, fireman's pole, electricity and working phone! His handiwork created a place where many lasting memories were formed.

Above all else his greatest joy was raising his two daughters, and later in life enjoying time with his grandchildren. He was a loving, patient father, always happiest when surrounded by family—playing games, telling stories, teaching his kids how to do things the “right” way, or settling in to watch a wonderfully stupid movie together. He had a deep appreciation for being organized and keeping things neat, and a talent for always being found cleaning something. He never turned down a meal—shepards pie, a lumberjack breakfast, an ice cream cone or two—he would eat just about anything and his hearty appetite brought smiles to those around him.

In the face of adversity, his spirit never wavered. After his Parkinson's diagnosis, he turned to a new adventure: RV’ing. He embraced the freedom and joy that comes with the open road, traveling across the country and creating new memories. His life was one filled with hard work, determination, love, and remarkable memories that continue to shape those who were lucky enough to know him.

Bill is survived by his wife, Carol (Desotell) Lee, of Hollis, NH, his daughter Monica (Lee) Dumont and her husband Mike and their son Harrison of Townsend, MA, and his daughter Chelsea Lee and her husband Buddy Boor and their daughter Billie of Chicago, IL.

The family would like to thank the caring staff and friends he made at Bedford Falls Assisted Living for all that they did to support Bill with dignity and respect in his last few years.

A service for Bill will be held in the chapel at Woodlawn Cemetery, 101 Kinsley Street, Nashua, NH, on February 27 at 11:00 a.m. This will be followed by a celebration of life luncheon at Murphy’s Taproom, 393 State Route 101, Bedford, NH, at 12:30 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research, an organization that is fighting to find treatments and a cure for Parkinson's disease.
