William V. Cail

William V. Cail, 84, of 37 Ridgewood Road, Bedford, died at the Ridgewood Center in Bedford following a period of declining health. He was born in Waltham, MA on May 19, 1921, the son of William T. and Katie (MacLean) Cail and had been a resident of Weston, MA for over 25 years. He also lived for a number of years on Frye Island, ME and in Sun City, FL before moving to Bedford five years ago. He was the widower of Norma Armstrong who died in 1993. While in Massachusetts, he was a member of the Weston Methodist Church for over 40 years. He had been employed by Suffolk Storage Warehouse as a general manager for 30 years. After that, he worked for Casey and Hayes as a moving and storage manager. He enjoyed traveling, especially to Europe and loved to take long drives and attending family celebrations. He loved horses, going to the lake and boating. In His Life: He is survived by a son, Randall Cail and his wife Sarah of Gilford; a daughter, Linda Greenfield and her husband Guy of Easton, PA; three grandchildren, Eric Nothstein and his wife Krista of Colonia, NJ, Brett Nothstein of Catasauqua, PA and Kati Cail of Gilford; and several nephews, nieces and cousins. A memorial gathering will take place at the Cremation Society of New Hampshire, 243 Hanover Street on Sunday from 3 to 4 PM. A memorial service will follow at 4:00 PM in the Cremation Society Chapel.
