William “Bill” Gorman, 64, of Lyndeborough, NH, passed away peacefully on April 8th, 2026 in Community Hospice House, Merrimack, with his beloved partner Donna Marie by his side following a short but courageous battle with cancer.

Born in New Jersey, he was a graduate of East Brunswick High School. Bill was a skilled craftsman, working his entire career as a machinist in the bindery industry, as well as owner-operator of a Rhino Lining franchise in New Jersey. His career and passions eventually led him to his forever home in the quiet woods of New Hampshire where he was free to enjoy his many passions and develop new ones, and expand his love for vegetable gardening.

Known as a small engine "wiz" and a skilled woodworker, Bill had a knack for building, repairing, or fixing almost anything that he set his hands on. Loved and well respected by his family, friends, and co-workers alike, he was always willing to share his skills and passions with others looking to learn, and was a willing student to those who offered to expand his repertoire.

A lover of motorcycles and frequent attendee of Laconia Bike Week, Bill twice made the journey to South Dakota for the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally, attending concerts, taking scenic rides along the South Dakota Black Hills, and enjoying the many national parks and historical monuments along the journey while connecting with friends, new and old.

A shooting sports enthusiast, Bill was constantly honing his skills at the firing range, developing a passion for pistol and rifle trainings at the Sig Sauer Academy, and competing in Action Pistol and Steel Challenge events at surrounding gun clubs, often finishing amongst the top competitors in his class, and making lasting friendships in the process.

Bill is predeceased by his parents William (2022) and Barbara (1993), as well as his beloved German shepherd, Ginger. He is survived by his dearest Donna Marie, sisters Janet and Kathy (and Ken), nephew Kenneth (and Laura), and grandnephews Theodore and Henry. He leaves behind many long-time friends, co-workers, and extended family members who loved him dearly, and will be forever missed by all of those who were touched by him.

His family wish to thank everyone for their love and support.

At Bill’s request no formal services will be held. For those wishing to make a donation in his honor, please consider Community Hospice House, the staff of which provided wonderful loving support in his final days.
